Dade Super Cool Air Conditioning is committed to making our website as accessible and usable as possible for all visitors, including people with disabilities.
Conformance status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. WCAG is the internationally recognised standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) for making web content more accessible. Level AA is the level commonly referenced by accessibility regulations, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
We consider this site to be partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA: most of the site meets the standard, and we are actively working on the areas that do not yet. Accessibility is treated as ongoing work, not a one-time project.
What we do to meet the standard
- Every meaningful image carries descriptive alternative text.
- The whole site can be operated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a skip link to jump straight to the main content.
- Text and interface colours are checked against the WCAG AA contrast minimums of 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and interface components.
- Headings follow a single, logical order so screen readers can navigate by structure.
- Forms use real labels tied to their fields, and errors are announced, not just coloured.
- Tap targets are sized to at least 44×44 pixels so they are usable on a phone.
- Motion and reveal animations are disabled automatically when your device requests reduced motion.
Known limitations
Some content on this site comes from third parties — for example embedded review widgets and the online booking tool. We do not control their markup, and parts of it may not meet WCAG 2.2 AA. If one of these blocks a task you are trying to complete, call us and a real person will complete it with you.
